Organic Tea Queen is a charming cottage experience set in the heart of a lush tea estate in Ella, Sri Lanka. We offer a hands-on, small-batch, traditional tea-making experience that takes you through the entire journey, from plucking fresh leaves on the estate to tasting the final brew.
This is not a big factory tour. It's a personal, authentic experience guided by people who grew up surrounded by tea. Every cup is made from handpicked leaves, offering you a true taste of nature at its best.
We are open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 7 days a week. We welcome small groups and individual travelers who want something real, not commercial.

Tea Plucking
Learn how to correctly pluck fresh tea leaves and understand quality leaf selection directly from the estate plants.
Rolling & Drying
Roll the leaves by hand and place them in a traditional wood oven for slow natural drying.

See how hand rolled tea leaves are traditionally ground using a mortar and pestle, transforming them into usable tea.
