Refund & Cancellation Policy

We are committed to providing a memorable and high quality tea experience in Ella, Sri Lanka. This policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled.

1. Free Cancellation

✓ Guests may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the activity and receive a full refund.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during booking.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be issued in the following situations:

  • Cancellation made less than 24 hours before the activity start time
  • Failure to arrive for the tour ("no-show")
  • Late arrival resulting in missed participation
  • Leaving the tour after it has started
  • Incorrect booking details provided by the guest

3. Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request to reschedule their booking at least 24 hours before the activity start time, subject to availability.

We will do our best to accommodate date changes; however, rescheduling cannot be guaranteed during peak travel seasons or fully booked periods.

4. Weather & Force Majeure

Tea tours may occasionally be affected by:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Road closures
  • Safety concerns
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

If Organic Tea Queen cancels the activity due to these circumstances, guests will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to reschedule the experience

5. Operator Cancellation

In rare cases, Organic Tea Queen reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to operational reasons, safety concerns, or insufficient participation.

If this occurs, guests will be informed as early as possible and offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative date or experience

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Processing times may vary for international transactions.

7. Booking Errors & Special Cases

If you believe there has been an error with your booking or payment, please contact us immediately. Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Supporting documents may be requested where applicable.
